BatVision Privacy Policy
Effective date: 27 June 2026
BatVision is a private iPad application developed by The Tech Company for authorized production use.
Data Stored Locally
BatVision stores the following data locally on the device:
- Imported video clips
- ALE-derived clip metadata
- Playlists created in the app
- App settings
- Generated clip thumbnails
- Still frames saved by the user to the Photos app
Data Collection
BatVision does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.
The app does not send imported clips, metadata, playlists, settings, thumbnails, or usage information to The Tech Company or to third parties.
Tracking and Analytics
BatVision does not use advertising, analytics, tracking technologies, or third-party SDKs.
Photo Library Access
BatVision may request permission to add images to the Photos library. This is used only when the user chooses to save a still frame from the video player. BatVision does not read or upload the user’s photo library.
File Sharing
BatVision uses iPad file sharing so authorized users can add ALE files and video clips to the app. Imported material remains local to the device unless the user or device administrator removes or transfers it.
Deleting Data
Users can delete clips within BatVision. Deleting a clip removes the local video file, its metadata, and any playlist references.
If BatVision is deleted from the iPad, iOS removes the app’s local data.
